Summary of the Activity:

Department of Commerce has organized the Guest Lecture of our prominent Alumni Mr. Ramesh Patil on the topic ‘Life Insurance: Marketing Skill’. Currently, Mr. Ramesh Patil is working as CLIA, LIC Development Officer at Ajara. He discussed Life Insurance business opportunities as an agent. He shared effective marketing strategies and shared his business experience with students. He also discussed the problems and challenges that existed in the insurance industry. Mr. Snadan Gaikwad, Branch Manager of LIC branch Chandgad, also guides students about career opportunities in Life Insurance.

Total  82  students participated in the function.

Bank Visit

          Bank Visit on  Thursday, 4 th May 2023        Department of Commerce has Organised the bank visit to Ravalnath Cooperative Housing Finance Society Ltd. Mr. Raj Chaugule, Manager has informed the students about the functioning of bank. Students guided on different forms like vouchers and withdrawal, deposits and advances schemes. He also exposed the practical use of software and required skill to operate in banks.

  AJARA MAHAVIDYALAYA, AJARA DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE REPORT OF ONE DAY TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAMME   Department of Commerce of Ajara Mahavidyalaya organized a day teacher training program sponsored by Shivaji Vidyapith, Kolhapur on 8 th August 2014. Inauguration ceremony has been done by Dr. K. V. Marulkar, Dr. U. R. Sinde Dr. S. R. Powar, Principal Dr. A. N. Sadale and chaired by Ashokanna Charati, Chairman of Janata Education Society.
